I’ve got for Mother’s Day and I must say that everything should be. I have a computer whiz in the family which adds a personal screen saver software and also in Windows 7 version. I have enough space for all your music movies and photos. I take it almost anywhere. Internet access with my iPhone connected. The touchpad is a bit ‘to get (the whole course of the mouse pad) but once you get the hang of it and tweeked a few is great. Screen is clear that the computer is ready and plenty of battery life is good though not as long as some other netbooks with 6 batteries. Now the battery. And ‘certainly great but I found it to be a problem. In fact it helps to give something to grab when I start at home and is writing a good angle. If you ever find a minor can I get one and use more travel but not a big deal for me. I am not yet increase memory. I’m thinking Windows 7 awards in the future but I’m glad this model. I bought a wireless mouse and Bluetooth dongle so there will be an opportunity for very little additional cost. The red is beautiful matte finish and not too bright. I think I have this neat little netbook.

Best Mini yet

So far the best netbook in the Mini series. I’ve owned previous netbooks from the Mini series and this is by far the best. The keyboard and outside designs are much better than the 110 series. The new N450 processor is slightly faster, the camera seems better, and the larger hard drive is definitely a plus. I also like the Wi-Fi N, its worth losing bluetooth over. The only problem I’ve had is that it seems that when put the volume over 80 percent, the speakers get ugly. Like car speakers with too much bass. But besides that, (by the way at 80 percent its still really loud), this netbook is perfect. I’d suggest it to anyone.

I bought this unit to use for travel. I have a lap top w/ 19 inch screen and full key pad. Its taken some getting used to the smaller size. It fits my jeep and I have been able to adapt so I can comfotably use the computer.

Great Little Notebook

Very happy with the little mini! After playing around with it for a week or two, I plugged it into a larger monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse and now it doubles as an extra desktop. I had only planned on using the Mini for trips and what not, but I’ve been quite impressed with it’s speed and disk space for use as an extra desktop. 

I would like to see an option for more ram - 2gig would have been nice and that will probably be an upgrade I’ll make in the future.

This product did not come with a user guide. Not even a website was given to access a guide. It took us several uses and much trial and error to figure it out. Otherwise, it is a good product. Great red color and works well. The mouse goes to sleep after inactivity, so it must be reset or it will not activate. Goodluck in figuring out how to reset it.

Great little machine

I got this netbook because I was tired of lugging my dell laptop around. I travel a lot and realize that when on the road I was mainly checking email, do the odd report, review numbers via my company’s intranet, and just general internet stuff. For that purpose its great! 
I wouldn’t want to do a huge report, crunch annual sales numbers, or create my fiscal year budget. THe screen is a little on the small side to really spend hours pouring over and creating data at that level. But then that’s commonsense. 

Essentially its a really great blackberry. It boots up quickly, it allows you to load iTunes and play music = it hooks up to speakers. When I travel its easy to get out to show security at the airport. I played around with it before realizing that it was worth upgrading the RAM to 2gb, 1 gb will work but 2 is much better. Its pretty stripped down so most likely you will want to upgrade to Windows 7 Full edition. Again this is not necessary, but it does gain a little more power. It only has microsoft works so you will have to make the decision to upgrade or to use google documents. 

I like this machine, I got a great price on it. There really isn’t much difference apart from hard drive size between any of the machines, they all have the same processor, they all have the same screen, the keyboards are all similar. As I said, its really easy to use because it’s very light on using its resources. 

I would make the same recommendations about RAM, Getting Microsoft Office, and upgrading to Windows 7 home edition regardless of which machine you buy. However, in saying all of that, if you are on a low budget then this machine works really well and I would highly recommend it

My new favorite computer

I had a Radio Shack Modle 100 for several years and carried it with me everywhere. It was a great for basic word processing, check book balancing and scheduling. For my purposes laptops only went downhill after that. They were too klunky, heavy and expensive. 

I did a lot of research before purchasing the HP mini. One of the factors that influenced my decision is that HP has redeemed itself as a computer company. Compared to other netbooks I tried the HP felt solid and well built. I saw a couple of reviews that criticized the HP’s large battery compartment. For me that has not been a problem, and I love the battery’s long life. Even though my vision is on the poor side, the 10 inch screen is very readable. I just move the screen closer and don’t even notice the size. 

Like the old Modle 100, I can carry the HP mini 210 everywhere I go. Having a laptop is fun again.

Excellent Netbook

I was a little reluctant to buy a netbook…thinking that the keyboard and screen would be small and 
difficult to see and operate. This is definitely not the case. I adjusted quickly to a slightly smaller 
keyboard and the display’s resolution is vivid and bright. I am a real estate appraiser and use the netbook 
in the field to access real estate data and to connect to my office or home computer with “log me in free”. 
Works great on both counts. Battery life is as advertised and between this and my smart phone I have never felt 
so “connected”.

Handy and easy to use internet access

The netbook lived up to all of the reviews I had read before making the decision to purchase this model. I have used it while traveling as well as from my home and am very happy with the speed of access while using the wifi connection to access the net. 

The windows 7 starter is easy to use and fills all of the needs I have for this netbook. 

The only downside is that it will not connect to the shared files and printer on my main PC that is still running windows XP on my home network. So I do have to copy files that I want to print or email them to my home email address. 

But overall it has been a good purchase and I am very happy that I made it.

Esta computadora resulta muy buena para viajes o trabajos fuera de la casa u oficina. Vino con Norton Antivirus, y eso la vuelve un poco lenta al momento de iniciarse; sin embargo yo desinstale ese programa y puse un antivirus menos pesado, con lo cual la maquina se volvió muy dinámica. Sirve muy bien para actividades básicas que incluyen el uso de Microsoft Office 07, Internet, Itunes, entre otras, el desempeño de dichos programas es muy bueno con la memoria que viene, las misma que, dicho sea de paso, es expandible en 1GB. Por su tamaño el equipo es muy manejable, se lo puede sacar y guardar muy fácilmente; sus componentes (teclado, pantalla y mouse), son cómodos de usar. El acceso a Internet inalámbrico (wireless), es muy bueno. No he llegado a agotar la baterà a en su totalidad, pero me ha durado más de 5 horas, trabajando archivos, usando Internet y Itunes al mismo tiempo. En definitiva, y, para las necesidades actuales, el equipo es bastante bueno.

I’m sorry I’m not able to offer a well-informed opinion as I am practically techno-illiterate. Really. Just a step above a Luddite. 

But I needed something that I could actually consider portable (as opposed to my beloved laptop-which I love, but is just too bulky for me to throw in a bag and run). Anyhoo, after looking in a few stores and online and reading the various folks reviews of similar products here, I decided on this. And, Yay! It’s everything I wanted. I can’t vouch for how well it manages more complicated aplications but for me to just acess email when I’m away from home (because I have sausage fingers, and don’t think I could manage IPhone use), and surf a few sites on the web, it’s been great. The battery life is always more than enough. The set up was easy and use is easy. Easy for me = Win. 

I got the sleeve they offerd her to go with it, and a small “Kensignton” wireless mouse (though the touch pad on this unit is easier to use than others I have tried, so I don’t always need the mouse). 

The unit arrived in a timely manner and was well protected in its pakaging.

Yes I believe it will work fine. There really isn’t such a thing as a notebook mouse or a desktop mouse.

Unlike the real deal this cute product is one I want to put my hand on!

The style is quite engaging - the red swirls provide a lot of class to a (let’s face it) otherwise ho-hum piece of office equipment. The red part is plastic but the black all around is a rubber type material. It provides a very solid grip for your hand and fingers. It is not sticky either.

The mouse really took no set up at all. Just plugged in the little mini receiver (and can I take a moment to say how utterly fabulous this is? Plug and Play has an all new meaning for me now!) and off I went happy as a cat. The sensitivity on this is amazing - previously I’ve used the Microsoft wireless Intellimouse and just a regular old generic wired mouse and this new Logitech one has both beat by a mile. The precision is quite remarkable and there is no lag whatsoever. None.

According to the box that battery can last up to 12 months. That will be great. My microsoft one doesn’t last that long. One other thing (that I won’t really be able to comment on for a few months) but my Microsoft intellimouse had just all plastic - so what eventually happened is my thumb “wore down” the plastic and made it smooth. Almost like a groove in wood. Unfortunately it also makes it slippery and so it was not really comfortable for me any longer. As the Logitech M310 has the rubber I would not expect that problem, thankfully!

I have always had wonderful luck with Logitech products and this is yet another winner. A stylish high quality mouse that functions well and maintains a low profile. I have a sort of desire (no, no it’s not a fettish I tell you) for red, well, anything. The color is so vibrant and just screams elegance and adventure. In fact I think I’m going to go get a new skin for my laptop to match my new mouse. What more could a girl want?
